 Call for abstracts / papers 

 

The Organizing Committee invites the participants to contribute the paper for oral and poster presentation. The language of the seminar will be English. The abstract not exceeding 300 words should have a title in capital and bold, font size 14 Calibri, followed by the name of the author(s) and address. The body of the abstract should be double-spaced in font size 12 Calibri font. Soft copy (editable .doc or .docx format) of the abstracts should be sent by E-mail at ptca2018@icfre.org on or before 31st December 2017. The acceptance will be communicated to presenting author by 10th January 2018. The name of the presenting author must be underlined in the abstract. Full length research paper should reach to the committee by 28th February 2018 through email. The text should contain a brief introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, tables, figures/photographs and references for symposium proceedings.

 

The range of topics to be covered in the symposium is broad covering a variety of issues related to the biotechnological aspects of plant sciences. Studies related to issues of special interest such as advancement in in vitro propagation techniques, assessment of genetic diversity of plants, production of secondary metabolites through tissue culture, development of transgenic plants, new vistas in genomic research, biotechnological advancements and their industrial applications etc., are encouraged.

 

The Symposium Committee will review submitted abstracts as an oral or poster presentation. Acceptance criteria will be:

#          Relevance to the symposium theme and session topics

#          Timely receipt of title and abstract and registration by the participant

 

An abstracts-volume will be given to delegates. Those who wish to have their papers included in the refereed version of the symposium proceedings should mention this when submitting their abstract. Guidelines for posters and papers will be eventually placed on the symposium website and sent to authors along with the notice of acceptance.
